Welcome to Albert Bonniers Förlag
(Albert Bonnier's Publishers)

Albert Bonniers Förlag was founded in 1837 and is one of the oldest and most respected publishing houses in Sweden. We now issue about 200 titles a year, including Swedish and translated fiction, poetry and non-fiction.

Albert Bonniers Förlag sets the tone in the field of Swedish fiction, publishing classics as well as modern works, established authors and new previously-unpublished ones. Some titles are issued in our 'profile' series, one of which is the 'Panache' imprint. It includes many of the Nobel laureates of recent years. Two paperback series reflect a wide range of titles. We also have a comprehensive backlist.

Our contemporary authors include John Grisham, Paul Auster, Joyce Carol Oates, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Thomas Pynchon, Nora Roberts, Salman Rushdie, Milan Kundera, Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Zadie Smith. Some of our Swedish authors have been internationally successful, among others Kerstin Ekman, Håkan Nesser, Arne Dahl, Åsa Larsson and Mari Jungstedt, and their works have been translated to a number of languages.

If you are interested in buying foreign and film/tv rights please contact
